Yesterday was 30 June 2008
Today is 1 July 2008.
So the 30th June financial year ends and the new financial year begins
Which means nothing for many of us but it's the date I see and I use everyday in my working life...
Financially thinking, it's just a new year had begin. Sigh......
Guess my workmates some how have to do a mini celebrations for this significant date that we all decide not to bring lunch today and buy the same food from an Asian stall in Gawler Pl and sit down and eat together and welcome the new financial year....Oh well my workmates were all crazy about the spicy taste of Laksa that we all got influenced by each other to have Laksa for lunch...
I was learning to make curry puff on Sunday. It was very very yummy. I brought them for my workmate on Monday and they all love it!! I'm was so proud and happy working that day...

‹ Over the weekends ›
I wasted 2 full days at home doing nothing worthful but lying down on my bed sleeping and watching tv shows cause my whole body was too weak to move around. Oh well, I have been sick over the weekends and it was quite bad that I nearly wanted to get my housemate to send me to the hospital that night. It all started on Saturday morning when I woke up, knowing that something is really wrong with me and yet I still went out the whole day till my whole face turned deadly white pale that night.
Aching bones, feeling of dizziness, nausea, headache, fever, running nose, coughing... oh well those common symptoms of the cold and flu...
So I have not been eating anything other than fruits and porridge (I can feel that I lost weight), lots of hours of sleeping and movie watching.
I took a day off from work today, lying down on my bed watching american idols and desperate housewives continuously. Hahaha...
I'm still not fully recovered and I don't feel like returning to work tomorrow cause my workmates gonna say something on me cause I refuse to get my flu jab the last month when it was provided to all staff. Crap! And somemore I need finish off an audit of a super crappy, dirty fund that I ever do in my entire audit job. Ssshhhhisst

Since after uni, moving to Seaview Downs, I have hardly hang out with my old Kuching mate. Transferring from the the same college back in Kuching, that can tell how I know a number of Kuching people around Adelaide. As the years passed, some stay back, some went home for good, some move interstate, some lost contact.

Bbqs and steamboat at my place, dinners, that's basically how some of us gather ourself back. From college to uni to work, I think that basically tell the time frame how long I know them.

Henry and Shin Yee, my housemate. I don't know why people would give me a weird look when I tell them I stayed with a couple. Sigh... I already know them well enough individually before they turned couple. And I have been happily and enjoying staying with them like good friends so far.
Diana and Daniel had just moved to Sydney over the long weekends. They had been staying in my place over the last 2 weeks. It feel great to have us 3 girls screaming around and doing the girls talk at home. I some how learn quite a lot of new stuff having them around. But one thing I don't like, these people have cause me gain weight cause they have been baking cakes and making pastries over the last 2 weeks. Arghhh...
Anyway, me somehow feel that my Chinese speaking has been getting poorer, having hometown friends around also maintain my mandarin speaking ability.
So, over the last 2 weeks, my place has been crowded with visitors and over the long weekends, with animals this time. Think about it... 1 dog is more than enough to mess around the house. One more dog and one rabbit, my place seriously stinks like a zoo. Dogs poo.... rabbits poo inside the house. WArh!!! Luckily I don't need to be responsible to clean those mess...
These dogs are just like kids around the house. They play together, they eat together, they sleep together, they fight together, they got scolded together...

I guess it's time for me to blog about me after months leaving that previous horrible post. No wonder soooo many people HATE me!
Oh well....
I have lots of things to say. Good, sweet, memorable and bad that happen over the past few months.
First of all, It's been weeks ago but I'm glad my SMSF and CPA exams are over. You won't wanna know how much I sacrify that ruin me.
Next, I didn't blog for so long cause my old laptop was severely affected with virus. I had difficulty to get in a lot of websites including blogger. But now, I got my new Dell desktop and I have been loving it.
Work had been super busy ever since I got back from Malaysia in February. I had been working overtime since then that I am so tired everyday. Worst was the period when I had to study for 2 exams over the last 3 months. I don't know how I manage myself dealing with work and studies. I was experiencing difficulty to catch up with my studies during the weekdays cause getting home from work at 7pm, my body was totally flat out. So I had to sacrify so much things and fully utilised my weekends and public holidays. I was so stress because handling 2 courses in 2 months I was badly falling behind and I don't have much time to study at all. I was so worry but thank God I been through.
Now I can't wait for the end of financial year which is just weeks away. I'm not thinking of shopping, seriously I tell you I'm not the crazy shopper as I am before. If you ask me when's the last time I shopped, I only window shopped so far.And I don't feel the mood to shop anymore. I also don't understand. Oh well, I can't wait for the end of financial year cause work gonna end soon. Then I don't have to sleep early and wake up at 6 and start work from 8 till 6pm. Sigh! I'm so tired I want a break!! And also I'm so looking forward for the end of financial year because I'M GOING MELBOURNE!!!!!
Talking about Melbourne, oh yes... don't know if everyone know, my brother is studying in Melbourne and he is burdening his sister financially. Maybe that's why I don't have the mood to shop anymore this year. I have been bugging him how desperately I want to go there since last year. And I postponed from March to May to June and now to July. Sigh....
My house has been damn happening these days. Another couple move in. So you can imagine how I feel at home staying with 2 set of couples.
Oh well, guess I don't need to write everything in one single post. I wanna watch movie now and I shall write my next post next time.
